Travel Corridors - Comment

Commenting on the Government's updated travel policies and new 'travel corridors', London City Airport Chief Executive, Robert Sinclair said:

“We welcome today’s announcement by the Government which will give the public confidence to travel again and provide airlines with a clear framework to plan their schedules. This means we can build on the momentum we have seen since resuming operations at London City Airport, with flights already returning to popular European destinations including Ibiza, Palma, Malaga, Florence, Amsterdam and Luxembourg. Our hope is that this enables airlines to restore other routes from London’s most central airport over the coming weeks and lays the ground for a much needed increase in business travel to the capital, boosting the economic recovery. Passengers can now book and travel in confidence, reassured by clear Government advice and the comprehensive measures we have put in place in the airport to ensure they have a safe, careful and speedy journey.”
